Appointments are now open to get your COVID-19 and flu vaccines. They are recommended for everyone six months and older. Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s Chief Medical Officer of Health says getting vaccinated helps reduce the risk of severe illness, especially in older adults and anyone of any age with chronic health conditions. Nova Scotians can get the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines from participating family doctors, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses, pharmacies, public health offices and mobile units.
