Get set for South Shore Oktoberfest this Saturday in Lunenburg. A day full of events for every age will be held at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. A free Kids Zone opens at 10:00 a.m. with face painting, pumpkin decorating and inflatables. Other activities include shopping at the NS Loyal Market, Bavarian Bingo, German food and special appearances from Quake Matthews & Cailin O’Neil. A Beer Garden will be open from 1:00 to 11:00 p.m.; live entertainment will be on throughout the day, with the Smoke and Spice BBQ truck in the evening.
