Seniors in Nova Scotia can apply for a $750 grant to help with healthcare and household costs. The Seniors Care Grant program is open to seniors aged 65 and over with a household income up to $45,100. The province says the program has helped tens of thousands of Nova Scotians with home heating, yard work, meal preparation prescription and grocery delivery and phone service.
