Nova Scotian’s named to Canada’s Women’s Olympic Hockey team

Hockey Canada has unveiled its roster for the 2026 Olympic women’s hockey team. Nova Scotia’s Blayre Turnbull was among the 23 players named to the team. Turnbull won gold in Beijing in 2022 and silver in PyeongChang in 2018. She is the captain of the PWHL’s Toronto Sceptres. The team will be headed up by fellow Nova Scotians Troy Ryan as head coach and assistant coach Kori Cheverie.
