We've got a lovely day planned. Mid-afternoon, Lorn is taking me to Vernon's, the restaurant just past Tantallon. I love their menu! I'm already dreaming about a strawberry milkshake and fish and chips... unless something else catches my eye first.

The kids will be calling throughout the day, and I expect Erica will drop by this evening for birthday cake. The ice cream is already in the freezer waiting.
It really has been a marvellous summer. Yesterday we had our Home Warming assessment, and we've been approved for some major renovations, which is wonderful news.

And don't worry, I don't climb up on the raised garden beds anymore! I've finally learned to leave the acrobatics to younger people.
