Allyship Training

On behalf of Pride Lunenburg County, we are happy to transition our Allyship Training into a virtual format, allowing us to support more people across our region and remove the barriers of travel and scheduling.

From Awareness to Action—On Your Schedule

Our comprehensive equity training is now available in a condensed, asynchronous virtual format for a limited time. This allows staff and volunteers to engage with these critical tools without the hurdle of a full-day time commitment or travel.

This session is designed to move individuals beyond basic awareness, providing actionable tools and resources to foster active allyship and implement tangible equity practices for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and marginalized groups within our communities.

Free Access

High-quality specialized training often comes with a significant price tag. However, through the generous support of the Province of Nova Scotia’s Department of Communities, Culture, and Heritage, we are offering the full program and its accompanying workbook at no cost.

Promotion Details:

  • Format: Asynchronous Virtual (Self-paced, condensed)
  • Cost: Free (Includes digital training and workbook)
  • Availability: Now through April 15
  • Where to Access: lunenburgcountypride.com/ACT

Why Participate?

By making this training asynchronous, your organization can integrate professional development into their existing schedule. Whether it’s a lunch-and-learn or a dedicated morning block, these resources are designed to fit the busy schedules of our local organizations while ensuring our region continues to lead in community equity.

We encourage you to share this link with your staff, business contacts, and volunteer connections as soon as possible to ensure they can take advantage of this free window before the April 15 deadline.
